Environment SCS
actively directs its business interests, work patterns and methods, including design
concepts to aim at minimising the effects on the environment in the application and
construction of control systems.
We are committed to providing environmentally sustainable
solutions to engineering problems and with our written policy, we accept and recognise
concern for environmental issues.
Therefore the company activities are made to reduce its
impact on the environment to the lowest practical minimum by recognising these
responsibilities through a positive environmental policy.

Statement
It is the
objective the company to maintain the following goals;

Minimise any disturbance to the local
environment and to the quality of life of the local communities in which the company
operates. |

Fully comply with all regulations in
association with environmental issues. |
| c. |
Maintain the appearance of the companies
premises to the highest practical standard. |
| d. |
Ensure positive steps are taken to conserve
resources in particular those that are non renewable. |
| e. |
Assess during initial design stages the
environmental impact of any new process or product. |
| f. |
Provide as necessary , appropriate
information to allow the companies product to be used correctly and efficiently. This
includes the storage or disposal of any hazardous chemicals which could potentially damage
the environment. |

Advise, inform and train employees wherein
hazardous substances are used. |

Action Programme
The action
programme determines specific objectives for environmental control, providing guidelines
for company personnel whom have the responsibility for ensuring that the objectives are
met.

Management involvement; Managers throughout
the company take responsibility to ensure that environmental issues are considered
carefully when making decisions or when planning and controlling work. |
| b. |
Workforce involvement; All employees are made
aware of their individual responsibilities for acting in accordance with the environmental
policy. |
| c. |
Waste reduction and recycling; Careful
consideration will be given to the elimination or minimisation of waste at source and the
recycling or ability to reuse materials. |
| d. |
Waste disposal; All waste disposal will be
carried out in a sensible manner with due regard for all environmental considerations. |
| e. |
Protecting the environment; The company will
plan, conduct and monitor its operations using the best practical means to protect the
environment from damage. |
