The SSW05 Plus Micro Soft-Starters, with Digital Signal Processor (DSP) control have been designed to supply an excellent performance during starting and stopping of electric motors with excellent cost/benefit ratio.

The SSW05 Plus Micro Soft-Starters are compact, optimizing the space in electrical panels ensuring quick and easy operations. The series incorporates all protections for the driven motor.

The SSW06 series are static starters designed for the acceleration, deceleration and protection of three phase induction motors. The voltage control applied to the motor, by means of thyristor firing angle variation, enables smooth starting and stopping.

With proper variable adjustment it is possible to optimise the motor starting torque so that the starting current is as low as possible. SSW06 models are microprocessor based with state-of the-art technology to ensure the highest performance in the starting andstopping of induction motors.

A wide variety of standard features ensures easy integration into almost any application: 

• Fault diagnostics provide programmable protection against input line undervoltage, overvoltage and line phase imbalance.
• The motor is protected against undercurrent, overcurrent and current imbalance of the motor phases.
• Thermal overload may be programmed up to Class 45 - suitable for large motors, while thoroughly protecting them from thermal overload.

 

 

 

SSW07 Series (with built in bypass contactor and motor switch)

The SSW07, with DSP control (Digital Signal Processor) is designed to provide great performance at motor starts and stops with excellent cost benefit relation. Easy to set up, it simplifies start-up activities and daily operation. 

The SSW07 is compact, contributing to optimize space in panels and incorporates all electric motor protections, and adapts to customer needs through its easy-to-install optional accessories.( keypad, a communication interface or a motor PTC input can be added to the product.)

• Strong reduction on mechanical stress on the coupling and transmission devices (gearboxes, pulleys, gears, conveyers, etc) during start up of the motor.
