The Hitachi SJ200 AC Inverter is the latest SLV Inverter to be released by Hitachi. With all the features of its predecessor the SJ100 and incorporates so much more yet still being compact in size.

The Hitachi SJ200 is a powerful unit capable of handling any AC applications. Using the newly developed "Intelligent Sensorless Vector Control" it is specifically designed for high starting torques and change in load applications. It also includes a new trip avoidance function to improve drive system reliability. Single and three-phase models are available from 0.2kW to 2.2kW in the 200V class and in three-phase from 0.4kW to 7.5kW in the 400V class.

While the SJ200 is ideal for stand alone motor control applications, Hitachi has addressed the potential for the products in systems by incorporating as standard PID control and RS422/RS485 communications. There are eight inputs of which six are programmable, two programmable transistor outputs and a programmable relay output. Access to the terminal rails is by removing the lower front case. There is also the option of a variety of fieldbus communications.

Speed setting is either via the potentiometer on the front of the SJ200 or by external analogue or digital
signals. A removable, keypad with LED display is used for programming and is included as standard.

The SJ200 has advanced protection sensing circuits and there are alarms for overcurrent, over voltage, under voltage, over temperature, overload, ground fault and so forth.

Automatic voltage regulation is includedfor output voltage control. The SJ200 has a built-in EMC filter, RS485 Modbus-RTU interface as standard, PID Control (Normal and Inverse), True 0-10Vdc Analogue output and output terminals with Logic and Timing functions.

The SJ200 is a truly global product and carries UL and CSA approvals as well as being CE certified for
low voltage and EMC Directives. All sizes are immediately available from Stock.
