New VFD-E Option Card;

Now available for the VFD-E, new option card EME-A103A for Bipolar analogue input and 3 digital outputs.

New Communication Module for C2000;

IFD-6530 now available as USB-RS485 converter that can also supply power (taken from the USB port) in the same format as the IFD6500 and used to connect the new VFD-C2000 keypad KPC-CC01 to your computer, for example to upload your Logo into the drive HMI.

Sofware update;

VFD Soft has been updated to version 1.43 and now runs in Vista and Windows 7.

Hardware Update;

VFD-EL has been modified to accept MKE-HUB01 in addition to connecting to the VFD-E drives.

Updated communication Module;

IFD6500 & IFD6530 run in Windows 7 (64Bits) and Vista (32bits), windows 7 will automatically search for the driver on the internet when using either the IFD6500 or the IFD6530

New Analogue I/P Module;

New DVP04AD-SL 4 input analogue module for S Series slimline PLCs (1~5V,0-5V,-5+5V,0-10V,-10~+10V, 4-20mA,0-20mA,-20~+20mA) resolution 1/32000 16Bit.Conversion time 250ms/point, broken wire detection (1-5V,4-20mA) Offset gain setting, left side extension ; High speed convert Analogue signals to Binary data module.

Product Phase out;

The TP05G-BT2 shall be phased out of production later this year and the more functional TP08 shall be supplied in place of this. Last orders accepted Oct 2010. and will be discontinued from january 2011.

Wastewater Energy Saving Tips

No Cost

Operate the air-activated sludge system's blowers on lower speeds using variable speed drives or use fewer blowers during times when the Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) is not at its maximum for the day. This action can reduce an aeration system's energy usage up to 35%.

Good Investment

Consider installing smaller blowers alongside existing larger ones. Until influent levels increase, use only the lower-horsepower blowers in order to save between 5 and 40% of aeration system usage.
Switch to airlift pumps.
Use ultraviolet disinfecting systems.
Utilize low-pressure membrane filtration systems.
