A Sensorless Vector AC Micro Drive. The VFD-E Plus series represent Delta Electronics newest low horsepower, 0.2 to 22kW constant torque drives, IP20 rated, Modular in design with flexible extension/option cards and a built-in PLC function, upgraded in the plus version for 500 steps,6 inputs and 2 outputs, utilising 28 functions, the VFD-E has the ability to write and to execute simple control programs, replacing the need for external PLC,  this series meets a full range of application requirements, uses Delta standard PLC software and can communicate directly with the Delta Range of HMIs, allowing operator control and programming directly from the HMI.

The drives feature ,Built in EMI filter, switchable for IT Mains supplies, RoHs compliant lead free manufacturing process, High Precision current detection, Full overload protection (oL,oL1 and oL2), overvoltage/over-current stall prevention, short circuit protection, reset after fault, speed search function and motor overheat protection bt PTC.

THE VFD-E is standard with MODBUS protocol via RS-485, but has optional fieldbus modules for connection to a variety of networks including Profibus, DeviceNet, LonWorks and CANopen

High efficiency cooling allows side by side installation (40C) of the compact design space saving VFD-E, with easy DIN rail mounting using the DIN rail adaptor.

Multiple VFD-E,s can be connected In parallel to share regenerative braking energy, preventing over voltage and DC-bus voltage stability

With a price tag that is second to none in the marketplace, the VFD-E micro drive represents incredible functionality and extensibility whatever the application.

• 230V 1-phase: 0.25~3hp / 0.2 up to 2.2kW

• 230V 3-phase: 0.25~10hp / 0.25 up to 7.5kW

• 460V 3-phase: 0.5~15hp / 0.4 up to 22kW
