HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) are a common medium for information exchange and communication between the control system and a operator. It allows the user to complete settings through touchable images or keys on a custom configured and user-friendly window, which offer's fast and convenient interface of manufacturing automation, replacing traditional control panel discrete components needing extensive door wiring and panel/door space.

The DOP series provide touch screens of different dimensions and colours, allowing varying budgets and applications to deploy the use of HMIs from simple to complex process interaction.

Programming the whole DOP series is done using the Delta Windows-based and user-friendly Screen Editor software, which contains drivers for most major PLC manufacturers, in addition to the Delta Industrial Automation range of products, allowing use with other manufacturers plcs.

Optional modules are available to allow direct interaction with the HMI via IO modules including printers for trend/alarm history data output, or can communicate via the COM ports tdirectly o discrete equipment such as the Delta VFD-E Inverter, without the need for an interposing PLC
